has anyone experienced a siren type noise coming from the turdo as you accelerate. I know its one of the tubes but is it a common fault with one particular tube. in otherwords which tube generally get a hole in it.

Not experienced that in mine mate, if you've got a phone or digital camera that has a video mode it might be easy to get someone to sit with you while you drive it so that they can record the sound?

You will need to check all the tubes, mine went like that and it was the large

tube connected to the throttle body, had a nice big split in it.
