1990 ls400, when i run on uneven road at > 50 mph, i feel the car is bouncy (or floating) more than enough. I often hear the sound when tires touch the inner wheel arc. both front and rear wheels.

what should I replace? the shock absorber (damper) or the springs?

all the fluid has leaked out one of my coilovers so it has no dampening i get the exact same effect when driving

i need a new shock absorber part the spring is fine maybe same for u ?

i would have thought that the damper needs changing to solve that problem.
