Can someone recommend the best replacemet tires for my LS400. I like a smooth quiet tire. Can I switch form a V rated (OEM) tire to a S rated tire? What is the real concern? I dont plan on driving 130 MPH. I'm very easy on ther car but the only tire the shops will sell me are V rated tires that ride harsh and noisy. Anyone out there riding on smooth riding "S" rated tires?
please advise.

Not sure of your location, but in the UK I believe if you fit tyres of a lower speed rating than the manufacturer recommends you can invalidate your insurance.

Presuming you're on 16" rim stick with the Dunlop Sport D8z s. I've tried a few different ones but these are the tyres designed for the LS400 a I reckon they work well.
