Hi I am about to get Michelin Pilot Exalto tyres fitted to my IS200 sport. Just thought I would check if its a safe bet or not?

Any advice would be great.

My original tyres were Pilots, I want all that impressed. The road noise on them is pretty bad I found.

Very good in the dry, hard-wearing.

Not quite up with Pirelli and Continental in terms of grip in the Wet.

And... V-shaped profiles get noisy when they start to wear.

Yes I did get the Mich pilots. Must say I dont have hardly any wheel noise from them and they grip like ***k! But thats my opinion blink.gif

405 squid for the 4 fitted, dont think that was bad. hehe.gif

I have got two Michelin Piolot Sports fitted to the front of my GS. All I can say is that all the road noise I seem to get comes from the back. I have Bridgestone Potenza's fitted there. Will defanitly be getting a pair of Piolot Sprts for the back when they are due a change. I find I get more feel through the steering and the grip in the wet is fine. I also got mine from Costco. Two tyres 235/45/17's came to a shade over £230. I had them fitted at a tyre specialist up the road.

I think overall apart from the cost!

Michellin tyres are the best! Hardest wearing etc!

Esp Pilot sport V tread!
