Took my GS into Oxford yesterday for a new steering rack (arm and a leg) - they did a great job for me.

While I was there, I treated the care to a "Silver Valet" - cost £75 but the results are ASTONISHING! - they cleaned and polished everywhere - inside the wheels, under the bonnet. A real nice touch was the silicone shiny stuff they put on some of the engine components. Highly recommended

Ricky - there is a "Gold" valet - they needed the car for the entire day though, from memory I think it was £95. The silver one was immaculate - I bet the Gold one is superb - I think they polish out minor scratches etc (it's pitched at being the same as they do when they sell a used car).

This is my local dealer, I cannot fault them.

Does anyone know if all dealers offer this valet service? Can anyone quote what you get at each level of service and what the prices are?

I've just ordered a new IS200 with the oakham interior. It would be great to get it valeted once a year for £75 - £95!

I guess its down to each dealer as they are all independent.

I know what you mean Ricky. The only problem with getting your car immaculately clean is that it breaks your heart to see it get dirty again so quickly.

I gotta drive to Manchester tonight - I think the car will probably lose its showroom shine by the morning

I think if javaboss is planning on having something like that done once a year waiting till May/June would be a good idea! At least it will have a chance of staying clean for a few days.
