Full Version: Radio Mute
Hi everyone, Bought a 220d with multimedia on Friday and I must say I like it a lot. After reading through the very extensive manual on the multimedia system, haven't got around to the main manual yet, I can't find anything to tell me how to make the audio system mute when the nav system is giving directions. Is this not a feature that is available or am I missing something. Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

No mute facility...it's a shame....

Press the audio off button, works a treat

Hi there welcome to the club and congratulations on your purchase. As others have said there is no Mute button, but like scott I tend to use the Audio off button as well.

Hi there welcome to the club and congratulations on your purchase. As others have said there is no Mute button, but like scott I tend to use the Audio off button as well.
Bit of an error really as the audio shuts off automatically when you press the voice activation button to give a command.....which reminds me...I pressed the voice activation button today just as my passenger saw something that caused the expletive "Fook me" (something very similar), and the disembodied voice immediately replied "showing all park and ride icons". Do think it's been programmed with a sense of humour?
