Hello,
I have lost the keys to my altezaa..
I do not have a spare key:(
I have been speaking with the toyota dealer this morning, and they are estimating that it will cost 2000-3000 euro to get a new key for the car as they will need to change the ecu, etc etc.
Just wondering if anyone out there might have other ideas how to fix this?
Regards,
Eddie

think the dealer is mixing up the RS200 with an IS200 as the altezza doesn't come with an imobiliser .... no transpoder to code to the ecu, all you need is new keys and barrels...

Yeah my key is broken but still works (taped together). I got a similer quote for extra keys. Is there anywhere else like a good lock smith that could do the job

I got a spare for the Tezza cut at my local Mr Minit no problem, it's not a master so won't open the boot but I can live with that if I do lose the main key.

hi Eddie, are you based in the uk. if yes you could get it sorted for around 25pounds. just bought a ls400 from salvage and it didn't come with keys. i was given the same price but luckily the guy in lexus/toyota parts refered me to someone.
