I fitted a set in my MK1 a few weeks ago. What a difference, I went for the Diamond White 6000k bulbs, they look the business. Only problem I had when I fitted mine was that the wires were arse about face on the connector that joined to the existing loom. My heart sank when nothing happened initially. A quick swap round of the wires in the HID kit connector and the job was a good 'un.

I have also gone for the 6000k lights... and will check on the wires..
thanks for the tip..

Just plug "n" play..
connectors fitted straight up, very easy job.... hardest thing was getting to the bulb socket..
So far, very happy... and certainly can't complain for £44 delivered.. (plus maybe a tenner in customs to pay later)

I remember fitting a HID kit to my 2001 GS300. The worst part was fitting the bulb in the headlight. I hope the new owner is enjoying them as much as I did.

Hi Guys,
Sorry I'm new to this. So, at the risk of sounding thick. (from the ebay link) Which ones will fit a 96 GS300.
Is the Hxx the size?
Thanks.

As that link is out of date.. here is another one..
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HID-XENON-KIT-H7-900...emZ110269254078these are the cheapest on Ebay at the moment (including delivery)
Just choose the same type as your normal bulb, and go for 6000K as they look the best without attracting the dibbles...
I can only guess your bulbs are something like 9005 or 9006 type.. someone else will confirm, although it should say in your handbook.
