G'day to all from Sydney Australia.
I have just purchased a Toyota Harrier / Lexus RX300 and looking to get EMV / TV / radio / reversing camera / cruise control etc to work here in Aus. Luke from soarer.tv and Colin from Aus have already pointed me in the right direction regarding the AV stuff on Soarercentral forum in Aus.
Can anyone give me info regarding getting the cruise control fitted? Has anyone done this?
Same with the reverse camera. I am told there is an input to the TV already, so it maybe just a matter of buying a kit to plug in like in the Soarer.
Any info would be appreciated. Thank You.

Regarding the TV Luke would probably give the best advice. Fitting reversing camera through the screen shouldn't be to big a job if you are having the screen conversion done anyway.
I would imagine the cruise control would be a big operation. A lot of work involved but good luck with it.

Today I took out the liners / covers inside the tailgate to see if there is a factory connector for a reversing camera (like there is for Soarers). Unfortunately there was none. Does this mean reversing camera was NOT a factory option on the 1998 MCU10 Harrier? If anyone knows for sure please let me know.
It doesn't look like cruise control was a factory option either, so an aftermarket system appears to be the only option. Not a big deal except I love the responsive and accurate factory Soarer cruise control and aftermarket systems tend to be slow to respond and vague in their operation. Can anyone recommend a good brand / model of cruise control system that you have experienced?
Just as a side note, web searches reveals almost nothing about reversing camera / cruise for the Harrier. So I will post my experience here with them as well as TV / radio / GPS etc, to save someone else the pain in the future.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide more info.
