A mate of mine has been sold on my constant raving about the SC and what an awesome car it is.
He's looking at a 2004 with 80,000 miles on it as it is at a great price.
The dealer says :
Fully loaded sc 430,new alloys,new hard top both by lexus,sat nav,electric memory drivers seat.Drives without fault,full main dealer service history
.... New HardTop??? what's up with that. it's an 01342 area code ... silver car with cream interior...
anybody know anything about this car... or ever heard of needing to replace a HardTop?
scary thought.

Me never heard of one being replaced either, plus they dont come as a complete unit anyway, its all seperate parts

It was the motor mechanism or something.... anyway he bought it. great car, happy man

My Car had work done on it when the previous owner tried to put a large item in while the roof was stored he got a rather large bill for his trouble.
