hi all i tried to search but as 3 letter words can't be searched for found it bit hard lol

i wanna convert my aristo dials to the gs300 ones so that when i delimit the car i can do more than the 180kph without risking damage to the dials,

has anyone done this?

is it just a case of finding the dials an the drive from the gearbox an swapping them in or is it more involved??????
Miss-informer
No need to change dials.

Just get a KPH-MPH converter so your speedo reads in MPH.

What are you going to use to delimit the car??

Man,,, i hope the traffic enforcers don't catch you doing that speed. i could loose my license for 6 months to a year if i get caught driving at the speed here in New Zealand..

cool any ideas where i can get a kph-mph converter, i was going to speak to pete at thour for the delimitor. unless u fine people can surjest anywhere else?
Miss-informer
I believe Thor have stopped selling their delimiters and converters. Besides the delimiter doesn't work properly on the MK1 Aristo (v model). May work on the other 2 in the range (Q and Zi-Four but hasn't been tested to my knowledge. For the TT you need the HKS T6 and if it's the MK2 you need the HKS Type 2.

For kmh/mph converter, an Ebay one should suffice.

what about on a n/a lol an i can't find a convertor on ebay am i missing it?
Miss-informer
These should do the job http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll...p=33&fsoo=2 might want to ask the sellers advice first though, but they're all pretty much the same.

i thought it would be a mechanical system as aposed to digital i have analouge dials after all. still very confused?
Miss-informer
Yes you have mechanical dials, i.e dials and needles not a digital read out, but every thing behind the speedo head is digital, no speedo/rev cable in sight, just lots of wires, I'll see if I can post a pic.
