hiya all my remote boot opening won't work has anybody fixed theres

whats happened to it, has it never worked?......... you do know that you need to press and hold the button ?.or stopped working....is the battery ok in the key?

I have a question for anyone who knows the Lexus IS200 well, I was curious about the remote boot lock. When I press mine it opens and I just lift it up, but I was wondering if back in the day when the boot had more strength if it would open fully when I press the button? I want it to do that as its a good idea. If not then I want more springs to it pops right up hehe.

yeah origianlly it would have done. but you can just clean the joints up and see if that works.

But a few of us (myself included) have fitted a gas strut to lift it up.
