Full Version: 2003 Rx300 Washer Sensor Issues...

First time I've used this forum! I've just bought a RHD UK 2003 Lexus RX300. I'm really very happy with it, but there's one thing that's really beginning to bug me!

The orange washer level light on the dashboard is constantly on, despite having topped up the tank? I've tried syphoning out the fluid and refilling it, I've tapped the tank from every angle I could reach in hope of freeing, what I assume will be a float sensor, and I've even fed in and wobbled a soft hose around the tank in hope of freeing up the sensor!

Is there another washer tank on the RX300 perhaps? The only one I know of is the one under the bonnet to the left as you look in...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The headlamps, rear and front washer jets work fine, but this light is really bugging me as everything else is great on the car.

Thanks for any advice you can offer, Nick

Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a go, how do you reset the ECU?

Disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes.
Then see if that does the trick
