Hi, last years MOT identified slight play in both lower front ball joints and rear upper ball joints. due for the next test in 3 weeks so just in case, any advice on costs of repair if it's a fail and any suggestions on southern/south coast specialists/independents who could do a good job at a fair price. Thanks

hi, just had my rear upper ball joints done, £404 all in and i believe garage uses o/e parts, its a big job because they had to remove the drive shafts to get to some of the bolts, so not to bad a price .station view garage / plymouth. not home at mo, bit can get their number if you need it

There's someone selling genuine toyota ball joints on ebay if it helps. Dunno if they are much cheaper than from the dealer though as I've never priced them.
