thanks for replying guys the would be my first choice if i had that option but sadly i cant get that engine here and the cost to bing one in would be astronomical any other ideas?
Monster-Mat
actually id say a 1jz-gte

can you not get another 1g-gte
shadder
does anyone know how strong the con rods from the 1G-GTE are are they good to run high boost with a set of forged pistons ?
cuz as i already have them i could just get a set of forged pistons made and get the car running
gsportcars
Standard 1g-gte block is good for around 1.2bar of boost from an average size turbo (T28 etc etc)

Do we have dyno results of 1G-GTE and 1JZ-GTE modified IS-Models? unsure.gif

Performance would be interesting of those engines... shifty.gif

Ok thats interesting i would like to know know the power outputs. How much more than 1.2bar would it be able to run with the stock con rods and a set of forged pistons any ideas just a ball park figure?
So you think it would be a good build as i have almost everything in my garage except the pistons and a computer?
