Sorry if Iam not from the UK but I am passionate about Lexus and whilst we in SA, had our own LOC, it was very dormant and appears to be non-existent now.

I have a 2007 Lexus IS 250 SE A.

Just a quick Q,

In the UK are your cars also bound by "free" Maintenance Agreements restricting / forbidding you to mod your cars whilst under the term of the agreement?

in the uk they dont really have "free" maintenance agreements/ free servicing on lexus, and also if anything failed they it would have to be proved that the modification directly caused the failure.

An old school m8 of mine has moved 2 SA & he exported his IS200 said it cost a fortune 2 do aswell so cool 2 know there`s more out there

Out here, if it's modded, the plan is invalidated. (As long as it's specific to the area in question. I.e. If you put on a custom exhaust, the exhaust and engine is invalidated but not the electronics etc.) There is no "onus" to prove mod did damage. Even window tinting has to be done by the dealer cause if it ain't and the say window winder breaks, they will not replace/repair free of charge.

Very autocratic here in SA....
