Didn't shut driver's door properly; interior light stayed on all night; battery flat but not dead the next morning. Tried a jump start, then charged battery, then fitted new battery; turning over but just won't fire. Computer security is not set. I suspect it's something to do with the immobiliser. If I can't get it started, I'll have to pay to get it transported from deepest Cornwall to the nearest dealer which is in Plymouth! Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Ken.

Thanks for that, I did try that after reading it on the LOC USA site but it didn't work. I think it was because I had already attempted to start the car after reconnecting the battery. I disconnected the battery again today; left it for twenty minutes; reconnected it; did the two click-six minutes routine, removed the key; put the key back in; turned it; and it fired up straight away. Certainly is a useful trick to know!!
