Myself and Barrie Newsome (Bazza) are confirmed entries for the Toyota Sprint Series this year.

I am a confirmed entrant for the Time Attack series and Barrie is waiting to hear.

It would be great if we could have some LOCers join us at these events for limited mechanical help (wheel changes - fan/ PS belt changes - coilover adjustment - bodywork repairs)

Not looking for F1 level expertise but competant DIYers. Hopefully we will not need any assistance and you'll have a nice day out !!

In return you'll get free admission to the events and the chance to experience motorsport from the pit lane !!

For Time Attack each car will need 2 people. For the Toyota Sprint Series we can have 3 people for each car (ticket restrictions for TA)

Hey guys I was going for a job with FPA (formula palmer audi) this season but didnt get it so now need to get some experence in at tracks etc, txt barry today and he said to check date just looked and i should be ok for most of these, so if you need me let me know.

This goes for time attack and the toyota sprint series

Need to know for this sunday asap so i can make plans and i suppose get some tickets etc

good vid dave, shows how bumpy and loose that surface was, when yours is bouncing around

slippery ! not kidding, span out twice, both times was the back loosing traction, even trying to control it by off and on throttle couldnt save me !

no he still had 3 secs on me
he came second
i came fourth
but in saying that i managed to knock 12 seconds off from worst to best

but i also have a great list of excuses:
engine was only put in last week, has had no tuning, and definetly not running at optimum
boost was severly limited to 0.7 bar...(he had 1.4 bar! )
i havent driven the car for 6 months, with the work that has been done it might as well been a different car



for reference the winning time ....Adrian from Fensport in his Corolla GT4 was 1.00.21

with 420bhp and 4wd..............
