i have recently acquired a 92 sc400 with the nacamichi stereo and i love the car, only issues are that the antenna does not go up or down, the cd changer skips (so far have only used burned cd's i dont know if it will skip for real cd's), and the rear speakers were blown (which i replaced with infinity 6.5's)
i cant find anything about the stereo so any information will help, but the main thing im trying to find out is, is it my cd changer or all the old ones that just cant seem to play burned cd's well and what if any other models and years can i just replace mine with without having to modify anything?
once again any info would be greatly appreciated
thank you

My SC400 didn't like burnt CDs either. The changer IIRC is a Pioneer and and are hard to find now. The audio shop said it would be near impossible to get a new changer to work off the existing controls but I have no other evidence of this being a fact.
Nice car though

i can find changers on ebay i was just wondering if they plugs are universal among all lexus or if there are any other years or other lexus models that have the same connections so maybe i can replace it with a newer changer that may like burnt cd's better
