Hi was thinking of getting some P21 citrus degreaser and using this before i give my car a good old detailing ready for all the winter road crap .....any body else used it or could recomened what degreaser to use..????????

just use an all purpose cleaner from the supermarket - it does the same job and will be soooooooooooo much cheaper

I remember someone telling me not to use regular cleaners as they contain alot of salt which can scratch the surface?

washing liquid has, but would be dissolved content so wouldnt worrry about scratching anything, dont know about u but have never felt "bits" in the liquid cleaner

Just thought about it just to try and break up all the crap that the road puts on my car then give it a good soak in some foam wash...give it a good clean,then clay bar it all over,seal it after that then ( just ordered) some collinite wax...prob give it 2 coats of wax then should be ready for all the s**t and crap thats on the roads.

u will be fine, have never heard of anyone putting scratches in the car from using all purpose cleaner - infact would say it is impossible.

would clay bar then a polish if u have scratches or swirls then seal then wax

Yes mate thats what i will do after i clay bar it...will give a good polish got some sonus sfx-2 anti swirl + gloss enhancing polish,its good stuff and i dont have really any swirl marks,got rid of those when i first brought the car.
might have a few lite scraches but will polish out before it gets sealed and then waxed.

how would you seal it like which product would you use?

Hello mate well after you have washed ,got rid of scratches swirls etc,polished then seal it..

I use an accrilic sealent its called KLASSE all in one heavy duty cleaner and sealent...you can get bit from most places ..i got mine from AUTOTOPIA have a look at the deataling thread at the opening on the site..
