I have just replaced ignition barrell and had to take the dash off round the instrument panel when it was all put back together the instrument lights wont work or the reverse warning sound wont and gauges ie petrol isnt working but all the rest of the interior lights are working could anybody offer any advice please

Check all the fuses, Engine bay, and both footwells.

Also did you plug the little knob to the left of the steering column back in? the one that controls the brightness?

Many thanks for your help but have realised it would have worked if i had plugged the connectors back what an idiot i feel for posting that question now

I have a stupid question, never thought of it before. My car doesn't have a reverse beep. Should it have one? It's an auto.

Nope - they never had one on the 200 auto. I felt sort of left out when I realised mine didn't......
