Its finally here and work will be starting next week, so hopefully, fingers crossed the first supercharged UK IS300 will be on the road mid February 2008. Further details and pictures to follow.....

Increase your IS300's horsepower from 215 to 305 and torque from 274 lb./ft. to 355 lb./ft. These are the estimated power increases @ 7-8psi from the manufacturers who are VORTECH. I will just have to wait and see what the result will be.

Where did you get it from ? I thought there were no more supercharger kit available, just turbo for the IS300

I bet the petrol consumption on that is gonna be huge!!

He could resolve that problem by towing one of these with the extra torque and hp he makes

I have managed to attach a pic of the supercharger and the Spearco intercooler, more pics to follow....

The supercharger kit has been imported by a Vortech dealer in the UK.

Yes it got done, he never collected it as the bill wanted paying No pay = No play

I was told it was never completed. If it was, bill paid or not paid I am sure the completed car would have been posted on LOC as being completed 100%

In the short time I have been a member with LOC, there is the bitchyness!! I am not really bothered if Mr Morse's car was finished or not This topic has been put on LOC to keep you guys informed of the progress with MY IS300 and to gather interest and support of fellow LOC members. As far I am concerned this is the first supercharged IS300 in the UK and I am sure this is the understanding with the majority of LOC members.

Its nuts isnt it.. Mr Morse ranted and raving about how his IS300 was going to be the baddest thing the world had ever seen.. Then it fell flat on his face looking rather silly

Anyways, maybe this time someone gets it done for real and doesn't take a course of its own. Good luck mate

Have been really busy! But as promised more pics of the supercharger upgrade, have been driving my VITO around for the past week and cant wait for the car to be back on the road. The coilovers and anti roll bars I ordered should be with me very soon too.....

Thanks for asking the question Noel...I was following the build of 'Black Betty' on 'Club-Jap' and there were quite a few pics of the build up to around January 2007, then nothing, but it looked near completion.

Mike's IS300 conversio on BB never got fully completed.

He's in Lagos now and don't even know if he still owns the Lexus.....

In that pic seems like it's virtually rubbing against itself as it passes/goes round the 2nd pulley below the charger.

Cheers Gord, supercharger install is now complete, car is off to SE england for custom exhaust and mapping.

Tony the belt is long and does seem a little close, but is fine it has about a 3-4mm gap. To all you IS200 members, there may be a new supercharger kit available to you guys soon....

my concern would be the intake filter being located above the manifold

Agree with Yemgi it sounds very sick, to a trained ear something is not right, I would have shut it down in about 5 seconds.

Bazza - Yup not a good place to be drawing intake air from.

I agree with the others something sounds very gratey like metal on metal, did u make sure that oil feed was pumping through before actually switching on the engine ?

hmm, as said before does sound rough, also the air intake is deffo not in a good spot.
You said its off to be mapped, what ecu are you using.
Apart from that, well done.
