Ive got an IS200 Navigator and when I brought the car I didn’t realise that they were a CD type Sat Nav upto 2001 and then it was replaced with the DVD version. Is it as simple as replacing the CD drive in the back for the DVD type and replacing the disc to DVD version?
(I’m sure this has been asked before but I could not find any on search!!)

I wouldn't have thought so. The screen is wider on the DVD version and the controller is very different. It is built into the centre console rather than being on a removeable remote controll. If it was me, I would spend the money on a TomTom. I'm not overly impressed with the satnav in my LS430.
