Does anyone know if there is a company here or in the United States who are selling High Output alternators for a Lexus IS 220D (or similar)?

It seems everyone is happy with their standard alternator here?
No one has a high quality sound installation in his car?

I'm guessing that different models will have different alternators. If you compare what electrics are on a base model to those on as SEL they are going to require a bigger battery and alternator I would have thought.

Yeah... That kinda sucks. I know (I looked up a long time ago) that Lexus IS 220D stock alternator does about 130A (my previous car, an Audi A3 Sportback 1.9 TDI had 140A; 10A more then my Lexus!).

I don't know what your alternator does. Anyways it's hard to get this kind information. I will make an enquiry at the garage next month, cause I need to bring it in anyways.

Would be nice to have a more powerful alternator for my (power)needs.

I already contacted a few companies, but none have answered me so far.

Have you phoned your Lexus dealer to ask?

I already sent them an email, but they say there aren't any HO alternators for a Lexus. :S

Forget it, this is a waste of time.
