i was driving along the A13 doing 80 when i lost power no responce pulled over and tryed starting the car again it started then cut out after about half a seconed tapped. managed to get it started and got home went back and tryed starting the car and same thing cut out straight away anyone had this before i do have a s/c fitted and was wondering if it was something to do with that.

Alternator gone so no charge?

battery was fine keeped turning the car over on the side of the road for about 10 minutes checking diffrent things each time.not sure if my piggy back ecu is on the way out does this sound like a fault the black ecu would cause

Possibly,
Disconnect the Ecu and join the wire thats been cut back together and try the car.

yes have the black ecu with four wires

You need an HKS FCD (Fuel Cut Defencer) I think mate

you can get them from TDi or other HKS Dealers

As i said in another thread, if you can find a Greddy BCC their a better option than the FCD.
But their pretty rare.

Their the same to wire,
basically the Black box, sends the correct inlet signal to the ecu upto a point then it sends a capped signal to stop fuel cut. The BCC does exactly the same.
The FCD sends a lesser signal right through the range instead.
