I have a quick question

When in reverse mode my wing mirrors automatically drop to aid reversing. However if my little mirror selection button is in the middle (ie not selecting) it doesn't work. Is this a key feature? Is mine just broken.

Its not anything other than annoying, but I can't find the manual

that is how the IS is. If you look on the user manual it indicates that you must have it set to either left or right. If its in the middle the auto-dip wont work

Merc & Citroen have something else in common (other than electrical gremlins)? wink.gif

Don't mind me I'm just cynically minded when it comes to Mercs tongue.gif

It's exactly the same on my 2004 LS430. When I first picked it up from the dealer, I did all the mirrirs. I rememberd on the test drive upon selecting reverse that the mirrors when down and then back up once park was selected. I thought I had broke them when I got home as I put the mirror controller back to the neutral position. As laborious as it is, it makes sense to go through the owners manuall. Even though it is thicker than some phone book directories.
