i've got a '97 LS400 and its due a service.
i want to change the filters/oil etc to try and save a few bob(personal situation means i'm skint!).
i also want to change the plugs but have heard its not so easy? is this true?
can anyone recommend somewhere to get the parts for a good price?

and what would i need? oil filter,air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, timing belt+tensioner? anything else?

i've had the car about 3 years but only clocked up about 10k miles as i work away so never had it serviced before!! so not sure whats needed.
i've been quoted £600 for a full major service including cam/timing belt and plugs. is this a good price?
