Hi All

Following my recent purchase I need to book my aquisition in for a 60k service.

The vehicle is a 2000 SE with FLSH since new. It's done 54k and I expect to keep it for quite a while so am wondering what benefits I am going to get from using a Lexus dealer compared to an independant Toyota/Lexus garage for services from now on.

Therefore can anyone receommend a good independatn garage for services and repairs to my IS200?

I live in East Herts and am willing to travel a bit for a good mechanic.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know of any independents in Herts but there is a garage called JEM on the Edgware Rd near Colindale NW London that service and repair Lexus cars if that helps.
mishman used them a few months ago and thought they were OK (thread link)

Albin B Motors in Bromley are good too. They were much cheaper than the main dealers for my GS service recently, even allowing for travel there etc it was more than worth my while.
