The factory spec (front and back) is:-

Wheel Size = 7.5JJ X 17
Tyre Size = 225/55/R17

As Steve says 225 is normal.... 235's will mess up your satnav when it looses signal.... 225/55/17 was only made for the Lexus LS430 its an odd size so people fit the closest they can get!!!! I woudn't worry too much about it though its 10mm wider than standard and only 5.5mm larger in diameter so the car sits 2.75mm higher at the back..... not much!!!

Yes that could explain it. I was thinking back to the GS300 sport which had wider tires at the back..

I know there is a big debate on here, but has anyone fitted Pilot sports? were they as quiet as the dunlops?

I have 255/40/17 rears,235/45/17 fronts and a spacesaver excuse for a tyre in the boot ( did work the other week when I had a puncture but only drove at 30MPH for 2 miles to the fitters)
