I have noticed that just about every Altezza that has had its filter uprated has been uprated to HKS units. Is there anything wrong with Apexi, TOMS, or Blitz etc.. units or is it because the HKS powerflow induction kit has been found to be the best.
Also has anybody installed an Ecotec CB26-P ( http://www.ecotekforum.com) ? I am considering this as it is supposed to improve low rev torque.

Don,t know about the rest when it comes to Filters but only seen HKS so far.
My car was done up in Japan before I got it. All sort of parts were used from different cos. eg SARD, APEXi, TOMS, TRD but my exhaust, and induction came from HKS.
It would have been more convenient to source the parts from one co. but they chose different cos so it could be HKS are the best for inductions?

Mate trust me in my opinion HKS is the dogs Bo***ks, when tdi Fitted it to my old Altezza it made such a big difference! I was pretty content with the perfomance. The RS200 is pretty quick standard to me, but after th HKS went on one can notice it getting up to speed pretty sharpish, and the woosh u get from the engine well worth the money! I kept up with my mates Audi S3 Quattro for a bit after fitting it. I dont know about other filters but fingers up for HKS mate. Will be taking my next IS200 down to TDI to get HKS fitted again and possibly fitting the HKS exhaust this time as well!
