My recently aquired ls400 on a 96 seems to have its cruise control limited to 70mph, anything over that and it wont set, anyone know how to overide this so called safety feature?

You need it adjusted for travelling on the continent I suppose? Dunno if thats a default mode or its been adjusted previously in software for some reason.....was it a company car in a former life? Sounds like something an over zealous transport manager might do!

Sounds like an import. The Japanese Soarers with the 4 litre were limited at 68mph on cruise. There is a black box above the foot pedals on the Soarer which needs to have a link soldered in to remove the limit. If this is the same thing I will find a link to a Soarer website that shows how to do it.
