Hi all and I must say this site looks really good. I have just got my Lexus Aristo and im very happy with it and it runs like a dream. However, after the 1st week of driving I have a problem with the ARS VSC and TRC(off) lights coming on intermittentley. They come on with the ingnition and go off when the car is started. Sometimes I can travel about a mile or so before all 3 come on at once, other times they will come on just driving through the carpark at work, When they are not on the traction control (on off button) works fine. Any Ideas from you folks on here would be great.

Oh, I have noticed that the ASR light comes on about 1.5 seconds before the other 2.

Most of the electronics on the Lexus are "fail safe" - ie: if a wire comes off it assumes a sensor is down or a problem exists and therefore a light or alarm comes on.

As you seem to have an intermitted problem then I suspect it is a poor connection rather than a genuine fault as such. It could be a loose wire or the switch itself breaking down, so have a look at the TRC control switch first.
