I have just swapped my 98 LS400 for a 2004 Ls430 and it is absolutely faultless.

Trying to pair my phone (Ericsson P1i) with the bluetooth kit was very simple however it would not allow me to download the addressbook of the phone. Spoke to Ericsson and realised that it cannot be done on this phone as it uses a symbian system.

NO problem. I checked that the K800i works and then proceeded to pair this with the car. Pairing was successful but when I try to transfer the phone book it seems to lose the connection and nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong? If anything?

Please help!

My Blackberry pairs with mine no problem. Today I was trying to get it to receive my phone book and it just drops the bluetooth connection as well. So don't worry, your not the only one having this problem. The Lexus handbook says see your phone manuall and the phone manuall says see the car manuall. Having consulted both, I just give up. blink.gif

Ignore the manual -some phones just don't transfer address details to the phonebook. I believe each lexus garage has a phone that works so take your SIM card in and ask them to transfer your contacts. Lexus Bracknell kindly did this for me.

OK I finally got hold of an Ericsson T610 and the transfer can finally happen but.....
It only transfers the first number in the contact!

If a contact has 3 numbers (Home, Mobile & Office) only one is transferred.

Any ideas?
