Hey guys

Does the seat belt alarm on an Lexus LS460 have a seperate fuse ? if so where is it ?

I do not need an annoying beep to order me to put my seat belt on. Of course i normally put the seat belt on but there are occasions - car parks, toll gates etc, when you need to remove the seat belt to pay. Then you have to switch the engine off,take off the seat beat, pay, put the seat belt back on, then switch the engine on. ...
I assume you don't know where the fuse is - i do not welcome any advice other than as to the whereabouts of the fuse.

Wow. I thought these forums were supposed to be friendly. I always thought you should treat people the way you want to be treated. Just goes to show I'm right. I would also have thought that there is alot more to it than simply removing a fuse. Would be interesting to see what happens when it all goes wrong and Lexus doesn't honour the warrenty when it does. What goes around, comes around.

Anyway...

Looks like it's a CBEST setting, at least on the US model. Googled CBEST Lexus and found this on the Club Lexus forum.
