IM PRETTY SURE THAT MK 4 LS400 MIRRORS GO DOWN SO YOU CAN SEE THE REAR WHEEL WHEN PARKING? ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SET THIS?

Don't have the mirror selector switch centred. Set it to left or right.

do u just leave it on left or right? so say i put it on reverse would the mirror go down automatically?

yes this is how it works on my is 250, i always leave it set to the left position.

Should do, yes. Whether you leave it there depends on what you want, you might not always want it to dip in some situations. I always leave mine set there though.

But why not just try it and out see?

It totally depends on the situation..............It's a novelty at first.............I park between another car and a brick walll so dipping the mirrors actually means I can see less. It's useful when parking next to a kerb though. Just use it as and when you need it.
