Hi guys, im thinking of possibly changing cars in the next month or so and im just wondering what my IS is worth and if its worth selling.

I know a lot of people prefer to remove all mods before selling – but I feel like that’s a bit of a shame (….and a bit too much effort!lol)

The cars spec is as follows:
’99 V reg IS200 Sport- Black/black leather, 100k miles
TTE supercharger (6k miles)
B&M short shift
TTE front bumper
Custom twin rear exhausts and back boxes
Lowered on Tein coilovers
18” Titan Electra wheels (could do with a refurb, includes one brand new spare so you could do them one at a time!)
Pioneer AVIC- X1 DVD head unit + sat nav inc glove box CD changer (with dvd in motion- btw its an awesome head unit, would definitely buy it again)
2 x veba flush fit headrest screens with IR for headphones (and remotes)
Audiobahn Amplifier A1500HCT (1300 Watts),
12” Audiobahn Immortal sub woofer (2000 Watts RMS)

(Most of the original parts are still with me ie head unit, wheels, bumper, pre supercharger engine bits, ect.)

Any rough thoughts on value would be appreciated, and if anyones looking to buy in the next month or so pm me an offer …but might actually keep the car as a second if finances allow!

Do you or are you going to put any pics up? where abouts in north london are you mate?

i'd say about a tenner, and it just so happens i have that in my pocket when can i collect?

Car looks lovely mate and sure you wont have a problem selling it but all i would say is that it will probably sell easier without the s/c so take that off and i'll take it off your hands for £20

pukka lookin car matey. what about servicing etc? has it been kept upto date and who fitted ya mods if ya dont mind me askin?

...i saw an electric "supercharger" on ebay around that price...LOL
(but seriously prob wont really look to sell the s/c sperately unless im really pushed to sell the car- so will be a little while)



Its had company car servicing by the garage that services all my offices company cars every 12- 18 months. Havent really kept a record of it though (might be able to dig out some invoices). will be going for a full service again in the next week or so.

All mods were fitted professionally:
S/C- prolex/ steve @charlesworth
Suspension- R-tec
Audio- Digital sounds direct/ steveaudiox
Exhausts- torque exhausts
ect ect
Still got most of the receipts.

you forgot to mention it now has locking nuts lol.

If you wanna maximise the value, definatly remove the charger. Should see £8-10k if ure lucky IMO (though my opinion has no real factual basis!)

...oh that shake!! of course i remember mate (even though last time we met i was quite ****** at mikes wedding!) u never said u were thinking of getting a GS! (good choice btw!)... i was surprised cos i didnt think anyone on LOC knew that it took me a year and half to get round to buying locking nuts lol

when are u next in the area mate?? im curious to see what ud do being let loose on a GS!!

tbh i havent really been pushing for a sale that much as theres been loads of delay in me sorting out my new car, so so far ive just been putting the feelers out really...
as for price i was hoping for around the 7k mark but i havent really got a clue how much cars are worth with mods on them...hence im open to oppinions
wrt the serviceing its had company car serviceing by an independant garage including cam belt change at approx 85k miles and clutch at 95k

also since i didnt fit the mods i imagin there would be high removal and reinstallation costs involved esp for the s/c

The Chargers pretty easy to remove, theres few threads on fitting, have a look and see what you think.

I would think you should be able to get between 6 and 7 for it but thats just my rough estimate

Havent been on here 4 a while.... but ive finally got round getting a new ride (was too hard to drag myself away from my lex!)...but i am now more interested in selling the car if anyones looking for a car in the next month.

There are a few niggles which i will discuss with any interested parties and can get sorted if anyone wants me to....

I bought my IS200 (99 with a private reg) in May. She is done 52K, very neat, only one lady owner and has Sat Nav. I paid £5700. I think you could get upto £5K as its done 100K (which is not alot for this model but not everybody understands this bit I am not an exppert so don't take my words but thats the price you can ask for.
