Can stock rods and pistons from an is200 be replaced with thos from a 1g-gte without requiring modification to the head?

im going down this route with prolex as we speak, 1g-gte bottom end(rods,piston, crank etc) with my 1g-fe head... lots of talk in the prolex forum.

Is it possible to just have the internals in an FE block?

Why ?, it would be better to fit your head to the 1g-gte biggrin.gif

I am concerned about valve clearance, the 1g-gte being wide angle head and the 1g-fe being narrow angle head. How would this effect the use of gte internals?
