With the unusual sunny weather we've been having I've actually managed to have the top down on the car a few times. cool.gif Even though yesterday was very sunny as well, the temperature was hovering around 6 degrees, which I think is far too cold to have the roof off, although I did see a few people in convertibles with top down yesterday.

As a rule of thumb if it's above 10 degrees, sunny and dry then the top goes down. What do other SC owners do?

Same as yourself normally work double figures although at this time of year when the sun's a wee bit lower it tends to be 13ish before it's warm enough. It was 11 last weekend but still a bit chilly 'cos no sun but still saw a few people with their roofs down now they're hardcore. Or maybe their roofs are broke and it's the only time they can drive their cars.

Yes the cold weather does seem to bring out the hardcore element. Seeing people with the top down when it's not much above freezing makes me shiver!

@ bridgerippa - nothing finer than riding around on a summers night with the top down. A friend told me about an incident when he was abroad in a jeep type vehicle, driving at night and his girlfriend was hit in the face by a fruit bat! Now that's gotta hurt!

About the same although the weather has been pretty mild since end of Jan , although gets very cold at night. I had the top down quite a few times so far but only short journeys. The weather kills my daffodils though, they start flowering due to the sunny days and then get thick frost in the night shutup.gif
