Does anyone have access to the Toyota parts catalogue? I have bought a Toyota "intrument panel" and "radio cover" to convert to a single Din unit. However, having now got the parts, I may need some other parts. Could somebody check the parts catalogue for these part numbers to see if there appears to be a mounting frame part also.

Instrument Panel - Part No 55412-30430
Radio Cover - Part No 55521-32011

There doesn't seem to be a Lexus equivelent to the numbers as Lexus Derby couldn't order them. Tried to get my LOC member discount at Toyota by telling them I would've bought them from lexus if they would share part numbers but they wouldn't have it. whistling.gif

Basically, after getting the parts, there seems to be no sensible way of mounting either parts onto anything, so I am either missing another part or this install is still gonna be more bodging than I expected. On the plus side, the double din frame is the exact same finish to the factory stereo and AC panel so should look good once I can manage to somehow fit it.

So, what I have is:

Spare AC panel with mounts

The intrument panel, aka fascia plate for a more sensible name.

and the Radio cover, aka cubby hole, oddment tray, blah blah

What I haven't got:

A way to put the darn stuff together unsure.gif

<<BUMP>> Anyone got access to the Toyota parts catalogue?
Chris.S
where are your radio brackets ?
TigerFish
hmm, I thought I'd replied to this already unsure.gif

Do you mean the factory radio brackets? If yes, then they are the silver brackets in the first pic bolted to the aircon control panel. If you mean brackets to go with the fascia panel in the second pic, then these are what I am trying to figure out if they are available mate and If I'm missing these.

Cheers for that John. 1st diagram is the one we tracked the fascia panel and cubbie hole from, the 2nd diagram looks interesting and might be what I'm after although not entirely sure, I guess a check on the price of the brackets and then decide whether to stick with my wooden DIY'ed alternatives. Pitty the EPC suppliers didn't contact me, I could've done better diagrams with my Etch-A-Sketch blink.gif

I know what you mean smile.gif

I have the Mazda EPC as well, which is a fair bit better than the Toyota one..

Luckily, I also have the full factory workshop manuals for the 626/MX-6 which I bought direct from Mazda HQ.. about £80
in excess of 4000 pages, in 3 manuals... and was worth every penny..
