Hi,
THe amplifier on the car has now decided to cease working altogether and dispite having electronics knowledge it has beaten me due to non availablity of circuit diagrams so I am going to fit a cd radio in the dash in place of the standard unit.
Does anyone know of an adaptor plate to fit the 94 LS for the new unit ( something about 1.75 DIN)?
Many thanks,
Steve

You can't be the first to want to do this, I'm sure I have seen something like that on ebay probably on the american site www.ebay.com not .co.uk

If not try Halfords they can usually get most things

Good Luck

you have to go to ebay.com for the wiring harness for the 2nd gens i have got a plate for a 3rd gen but not the 2nd but there are loads on ebay but the wiring harness goes though the amp

so you might have to rewire the speakers

Change of plan I am now going to replace just the amplifier in the boot with a 4 channel 300w unit and then still use the original separate sub amplifier but from where do I get the input to the sub amplifier can I just tap into one of the normal inputs from the head unit?
