Has anybody any knowledge of this ipod connector. It seems to good to be true.

it does seem good! so good i ordered one! will let you know how i get on once its fixed. i can mail you the fitting instructions etc. Grom audio website seems to have all the relevant info and i got easy step by step instructions from the usa version of LOC

I connected it all up today works a treat only lost one bolt! let me know if you need any help/advice

Hi postie, can you really control the ipod through car radio as you would ipod itself ? ie does it allow you to pick and see tracks or just playlists, as with other devices. Also is it pluged directly to radio or into cd changer, I have a rx400h.Tks

it works on playlists on my RX300 and it plugs into the back of the CD player so functions like sat nav and traffic alerts still work
there are loads of guides about i used http://gromaudio.com/grom_application_guide.pdf but do a search on google or search grom audio on ebay for more info on your car

If you have the in-dash cassette and the in-glovebox CD changer, does it retain all of the CD changer functionality or do you loose the changer capability?

i dont think i have the set up you described so i dont know
