Hi Guys,

I am limited by space for the fitting of the my tranny cooler, as I'm also have a PLP intercooler fitted.

I've been in touch with a UK company about getting one of these, they have quote me a size of 11” x 2-3/4” x 1 -1/2” (rated at 7,500 BTU). However US sites say the cooler is 11” x 4-1/2” x 1 -1/2” either way it will fit.

Is the rating sufficient? (i'll be going green as soon as there is a E85 station ere, so that should give upto 20% more power, so almost 260bhp).

Unfortunately the Polished Coolers dont come with a fitting kit like Supercoolers, what extras are required to fit these kits?

Cheers
Len

If you are limited by space, what you want is longer thin one, not as tall as the one in the pic, dont know if you seen the pic,s of the superdupppper supercharged car that tdi did for Dave ? but if you lok you will se what it mean
LennyLexus
Heres daves,

Gord the one i've been offered is between 2.75 to 4.5inchs tall, not like the pic on the site.

This is more like the one I should be getting

Put simply, one British Thermal Unit [Btu] is the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of
1 pound [ lb.] of water 1 degree Fahrenheit.
