Hi all,

I replaced the batteries in two of the keys. One was used everyday, which was replaced fine and works, the other key had the batteries run out aout a year ago, never got round to replacing them, until now. The problem is that the key does not work. Does the key require programming, as it has been sitting for a year dead. Or are there a few simple steps to get it working again? Your help would be much appreciated.

Anyone had this issue, or knows what to do?

My spare key just had its battery replaced (after 3 years or so) it locks and unlock f ine (even boot opens) but willnot start the car _ security light is on ?? might need programming in again.

i think they are sublty different.

programming the immobaliser and the door opening i think are two separate tasks.
