Just took delivery of my new GS300SE - its the facelift model

I'll be doing a comparison between my previous one and this new one in time!

Very nice, and interesting to see the updates for the '08 model year.

As a question does it look as though the new chrome grille surround could be retro fitted to a car with the previous grille?

From the photo it would seem the new surround just fits over the existing bumper moulding.

but a tape deck??? whats with that.... haven't even seen tapes for sale in over two years... Lexus need to get with the times, should have a usb or Ipod at least

Would be nice though, but would be even more expensive!

They've managed an AUX in, which most car manufacturers often refer to as "Ipod" connection...

Basically just your standard 3.5mm stereo jack - no controlling your ipod from the car's controls or anything...

Yeah, but wanted the new facelift one, so twisted an arm or two and hey presto!

Not really - the whole front bumper mould has been redesigned to accomodate the new chrome grill.

But you should be able to see more or less what I mean in these photos:

I'll highlight this a bit better in my spot the difference compeition post... probably sort it out tonight...
