Chaps
A guy I work with has a 52 plate Mk2 GS300 SE (I think) light metallic blue, cream leather 17" standard Lexus GS alloys etc.
Only 33,000 miles and full Lexus service history. He's after £12,500 or near offer for a quick sale.
Not sure if this is a fair price or not.
What is the general consensus?

For less than that price you could buy from franchised lexus dealer and get your 12 month unlimited mileage warranty.

12.5 is way overpriced. Values of anything large, petrol and thirsty are dropping by the day!
Looks like he's gonna get a shock when he tries to sell it!

Thanks for the replies.
Had a closer look at this car today, turns out its actually a 53 plate in spotless condition with SatNav and Levinson stereo. So according to Parker's a fair price for a private sale would be in order of £9,765. Ouch!

I bought my GS300SE Navigator/Levinson last year, sept 2003 model.. in pretty good condition.. service history..
Parkers reckons £10,695 from an independent dealer.. but my mileage was 89K..
I paid £8,700

Sadly cars are only worth what someone is willing pay for it.
