This is unusual.

I rang Lexus Stockport today to get a price on some parts for my Mk2 Aristo. I asked about the front TTE Lip spoiler that is fitted to the UK Lexus GS300 Sport Models.

Got the price (giving the details for a UK GS300 Sport), when I mentioned that the front skirt is actually for the Mk2 Aristo I was warned that the lip might not fit because the UK car and the Jap cars have different bumpers??? Both myself and the helpful person in parts are not sure.

They look identical to me.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the info Mat. Do you know in what way they are different? I have never seen an Aristo and GS300 next to each other only pictures and they do look identical.

as far as i remember its the profile, but thinking about it, its the rear bumper.....hmmm,

i know on the Mk1 there defo different, ill have a look around

I thought the fittings would have been the same, from my recollection of seeing mk2 Aristos. btw, how much did they quote you for the lip spoiler? I need to get a new one for my car!

Quoted me £174 for the Lip Spoiler which is alot cheaper then they used to be apparently. Gold gets you 10% off so looking at around £155 + Vat. The sports grill was a rediculous £267 + Vat however!

I was looking for some sideskirts too but they don't seem to do any or a rear skirt.

Btw..... Do you have the email address for Carson Toyota? They don't seem to list it on their website and I filled the feedback form out on their website days ago and have had no response.

The reason this question came up was because the person in Parts in Lexus Stockport said they have had a few Aristos in at the bodyshop they use and he has sent parts down for them (as fitted to a GS300) and they have not fitted.

I agree it seems unlikely that the bumpers would be different. Thanks for checking the parts book. Maybe someone with those newer EPC Part catalogues could take a look.

mine are 2007 EPC discs, so pretty new

Just when I thought I was sure the TTE Lip would fit.........

I posted this same question on the Aristo forum at the same time as posting on here and a member on there also has a copy of the Toyota EPC. He has posted up two different part numbers for the TTE which suggests that they might be different!

JZS161 Lip: 52119 - 30420 (Aristo V300)
JZS160 Lip: 52119 - 30370 (GS300)

Yet the guys at Club Lexus say that all body parts between the cars should be the same:

Rang Lexus Stockport again, and this is the part number for the Front TTE Lip:

PZ439S043000 (UK Lexus GS300)

The parts person said that the part numbers posted above are for the actual bumper, NOT the TTE front lip.

The TTE accessories are actually not listed in the EPC apparently...........

Still no further now then.

Not sure if it is worth just gambling on it.

the only difference i can see on the bumpers is the numberplate slot is smaller on the jap bumper
TTE accessories are not listed on EPC, becuase TTE is part of TMG which answers to TMME directly which is a part of Toyota Corp

however after the recent reshuffle of sub divisions within Toyota, making lexus seperate, the accessories, will more than likley start showing on the EPC discs, but not as TTE parts as that is now a discontinued line as a brand

its worth the gamble...

I am also after a TTE lip, but I'm gonna try and get hold of one from the US of A, as it's bound to be cheaper than here.
