I have seen a couple of soarers around in the past but never paid them much attention.

Just noticed that they change hands for as little as £1k on ebay.

Now for either a V8, or a twin turbo, coupe, assuming it's upto the usual lexus standards, that seems amazing value to me.

Are there any major downsides to these that i have not noticed?

err these were/would have 50k cars, (comparable to the Merc SLs), they still cost 50k car money to look after properly, there are plenty of dogs about, best to buy a pampered reluctant sale from an established forum member on TIF etc.

Go for the 2.5 1JZ-GTE, loads more tuning options, or the V8 just sounds P H A T

An under rated car as everyone focuses on Skylines or Supras. Like Lenny says, not cheap to maintain, but find a good one and you will be grinning!
