Just wondering what pressure people are running their tyres at. Plate inside drivers door seems to show some very high numbers, as high as 44psi. Had a puncture repaired and fitter felt these numbers were also very high and suggested 36 psi was as high he would reccomend. Any imput would be helpful.

running my is250 at 35front & 38rear this is the correct pressure to the best of my knowledge.

Depends on your driving. Official is 35f/38r up to 100mph then 41f/44r. As I do mostly motorway driving I have found 37f/40r to be spot on. Unless you drive consistently above 70mph I'd run standard 35f/38r.

run mine at 35f 38r had consistent wair at 30k all round.

I ran mine at 35F 38R as per the book until very recently. I was beginning to see slightly less wear in the centre as compared with the tyre edges (after 9000 miles and very marginal) so in the last couple of weeks I have increased the pressures by 2 psi all round. It seems to make little difference to the handling and it is too soon to say whether it will affect the wear pattern.

Run mine at 38 psi all round. Started at 36 but measured slightly more edge wear than in the centre of the tyres. All looking good for the last 4000 miles.

Runj it too low and your tyre life, consumption etc is affected. Like most - I run it at 35Fr and 38rr - though after the service it came back 40Fr and 44Rr - my teeth nearly fell out how hard the ride was!

Still not as hard as the M Sport tho!

did you ask for the reason why they had not used the settings in the manual.
