Is it really true what I'm reading about the Nav and Phone input on the GS not working while the car is moving and Lexus getting rid of the previously available overide option?

What on earth are you supposed to do if you need to reroute your satnav in heavy traffic where you can't pull over?...or on the motorway where you can pull over but it's dangerous and only barely legal??

How do you guys work round this? I'm already thinking that if this is true, I'll have to buy a TomTom or suchlike which does seem a bit silly in a top of the range tech-filled car!

the re-route function is still available even when moving and the phone has one touch keys that still work.

also there is a fix to remove the lock by disconnecting some wires behind head unit. In USA and Oz people advertise the service, but not seen anyone in UK doing it but there has been posts before which explain how to do it.
