mmmmmm was looking at the new model - 210bhp and loads of tuning options off the shelf but the standard equip isnt too good and has a sh!!e standard radio! The insurance is going to be £200 cheaper than the lex, work that one out!!!!!!!!!!!! saw one on the weekend and it looks fantastic, got me thinking and can get some great deals if i import one.
test drive and a browse of the forums i think!

I had a look at one in a SAAB dealer a couple of weeks ago (it was opposite B&Q where I was heading so I thought I'd wonder over). I didn't like the inside at all, look too plastic and dull.

I drove one when I was changing in my IS at Christmas.
They look promising, and a couple of guys at work have 9-3 convertibles, and rave about them.
Despite the fact that I could have had all the toys I wanted and still pay several thousand less than the IS300.... it was possibly one of the most boring cars I've ever driven.
It's all personal taste though - otherwise everyone would be driving the same thing. If the motoring mags had their way, it'd be a nice BM 3 series too

Nice looking car, well built, quick, but underneath the party frock it's a Vectra, could you live with that ?

I really like the new 9-3 - I haven't driven one yet, but on paper it looks good. I know the car shares the same chassis as the new Vectra, but isn't it supposed to be a good platform?

Test drove one not so long ago - wind noise is really REALLY bad at speed.
